AERC:RecycleKits

Select the type of RecycleKit to order:

A responsibility you can't ignore!
Fluorescent lamps (straight, shattershields, U-tubes, and circular); mercury vapor lamps; metal halide lamps; and high-pressure sodium lamps contain mercury, which is harmful to people and the environment. Non-PCB ballasts, electronic equipment, and batteries contain other toxic materials. As a generator of these wastes, you're bound by state and federal regulations to dispose of them properly. (Violate the rules and you may be liable for fines up to $25,000 per incident, per day. You may also damage your public reputation and incur long-term liability.)

How the RecycleKits Program Works

1.Order as many RecycleKits Packages as you anticipate needing for your facility (per month, quarter or year).
2.Each "package" contains a shipping label, an orange warning/instruction label.
3.When the box is full of spent lamps, tape the box closed, remove any old labels from the box, fill out the supplied shipping label with your facility's name and address, and attach both the shipping label and the warning/instruction label to the box.
4.Hand the box to your FedEx Ground driver the next time FedEx Ground makes a routine delivery to your facility.
